UDAYGIRI CAVES : 13 km from Sanchi and 4 km from Vidisha are a group of rock-cut cave sanctuaries carved into a sandstone hill that stands sentinel-like on the horizon. Birding Camp - 2nd February 2012 - World Wetlands Day Bird Watching popularly known as Birding is the most popular activity among nature lovers. This activity spread awareness amongst the enthusiasts about the birds and their habitat and promotes conservation awareness.  MP Ecotourism Development Board is launching a Birding Package for bird watchers. The package will include bird watching camp organised by MPEDB for visitors at one of the five selected destinations around Bhopal. Online booking of the package will  be available and the camps will be organised on Public Holidays.  To celebrate World Wetland Day and to launch this package, MPEDB is organizing a half day bird watching camp, open for general public, in Kerwa Ecotourism Centre on 2nd February 2012.
